 The 42nd annual Mid-Eastern Regional Fly-In is September 12th and 13th, 2009 at Grimes Field (I74) in Urbana, Ohio. Since the 1960’s members have held a regional fly-in in Ohio. MERFI is the second oldest regional fly-in in the U.S.

Plan to come to one of the best regional fly-ins in the country. The Mid East Regional Fly In.

Sept 12 & 13, 2009

 Saturday the 12th 8am to 5pm.

Sunday the 13th 8am to 3pm.
 

We will have judging but not EAA judging.  Several classes of ballots will be handed out as people enter the grounds.  People's Choice, Pilots's Choice, Builder's Choice, Coolest Airplane, and Farthest distance award.  

People's choice will be voted by the general admission entry, Pilot's choice is by pilots attending, Builder's choice is voted by people with either an experimental repairman's certificate or A&P cert.  Coolest airplane is a kids ballot.
